FOOD SITUATION CRITICAL. By Telegraph.—Press Assn—Copyright. London, Sept. 17. Reports from Kovno state that the food situation in Soviet Russia is becoming critical. COUNCIL OF ACTION AND KAMENEFP. London, Sept. 17. The Council of Action lias intervened in the Lloyd George - (Kamenell recriminatory correspondence with an extraordinary allegation' thaf. the Prime Minister himself urged the Council to use its influence on the Russian Government, through Kameneff, at admittedly a very critical moment. The Council approached Kameneft' several times with this purpose. The only policy the Council .ever discussed with Kameneft' was the policy of the Soviet relative to Poland and peace generally.— Eeuter. WRANGEL ROUTS BOLSHEVIKS. Paris, Sept. 17. A message from Constantinople states that General Wrangel's troops routed the Bolsheviks and pushed their offensive as far as Nogaik, which they occupied, and are now advancing in the direction of Bergamek.
