EXPLOSION ON STEAMER.
AMOXGST BENZINE' CARGO. , By leleirrauh.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. During the voyage of the Port Napier from New York an explosion occurred among the benzine cargo. The vessel arrived at Panama the next day, when the hatches were xe» moved and a portion of the cargo was unloaded. During these operations fiur stevedores were overcome by fumes, but recovered. No material damage was sustained by the vessel, and no fire resulted from the explosion.
