ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S. BRILLIANT DOUBLE PROGRAMME SHOWING. "You don't have to grind out every day and make the hours drag along, and curse every hour because you are a damned shackled slave. But I do. I do, and I tell you T can't bear it,any longer. I want to be free, I want to be loose of these fetters. My nerves arc drawn to and they are snapping one by one" Virginia Pearson in "Buchanan's Wife," the powerful Fox drama showing on a double star programme at Everybody's this afternoon and to-night. The second feature is "One Dollar Bid," starring handsome Jack Warren Kerrigan. There is an old law in Kentucky whereby any member of the community, on becoming obnoxious, can be auctioned by the sheriff to the highest bidder, , for whom he must work for a year. TII2 heroine gets Toby for one little dollar, mid that dollar promotes a slashing romance in which the hero, once vagrant, undergoes a complete regeneration. As the girl, Lois Wilson is charmingly adequate, while Kerrigan puts up the performance of his career.

THE PEOPLE'S. ■* MARY MILES MINTER TO-DAY. To-day's new bill commencing at the Matinee at 2 p.m., presents Mary Miles Minter, the young heroine, who is most attractive in the latest Pathe production, "The Amazing Impostor,", which gives her perhaps the 'best >opportunity she has yet had as the leading character in a story. "The Amazing imposter" should entertain any audience hecause of the good story, besides the good acting. "Exchanged identity" furnishes the foundation of the plot. Tired of the notoriety of being the daughter of a chewing-gum king, the heroine seeks seclusion at some lonely spot. On the train she meets a notorious crook, masquerading as a European countess! The latter persuades the heroine to exchange identities. Thus the heroine's impersonation of a countess results in many complications that are worked out intelligently. The bill includes post nature scenic, gazettes, and another Mink Mann comedy.
