Of 70 horses submitted, (he majority changed hands. Unbrokcns were few In number, but those submitted, which were mostly two-year-olds, wore eagerly sought after. A consignment from Feilding, consisting of milk carters and good all round harness horses sold under spirited bidding at prices ranging fro ™ £l(i to £34. The yarding contained some* very good hack and light harness horses, and the demand for these was exceedingly brisk. Best classes.sold to £25 10s, others included in which were onany poor conditioned and aged ditto, £lO to £2ll. -Some good stamps of diacks were offered, (lie best of these selling from £l2 to £l9, the bulk of them at prices ranging from £5 lo £9.
