Dr. Crieliton Browne, in his presidential address to the association of sanitary inspectors, said it would be possible some day. to vaccinate against tuberculosis as successfully as tminllpox. '''here was acquired immunity from tuberculosis which may be conferred artificially on susceptible animals by innoculation. He suggested that some charitable profiteer should draw a cheque for £ 500,000 to establish a properly equipped laboratory to carry out experiments on young chimpanzees on an uninhabited island uninfected by Cable Assn.
