Received Sept, 16, 8.45 p.m. London, Sept. 15 The Paris correspondent of the Daily Eipress reports' that Madame B;Mttjntel'g reluctance to persuade her kufifband to resign -was overcome by the discovery -that he fell into a pond while wandering unattended in the chateau grounds at Rambouillet. A gardener rescued him in an exhausted condition, and a serve nervous attack followed.— AU.-N2. Cable Assn.
A cable tc the Australian papers from London, dated September 5, says: M. Paul Deschanel, President of JYanoe, is a nemras wreck, and is qui{e unable to appear in public.
