A BOY KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. A boy named Cyril Henry Knapp, whose parents reside at Ngahauranga, was playing in a street there this afternoon, when lie was run over by a traction engine. His pelvis was fractured, and he died shortly after admission to the hospital. FOUND DROWNED. Dunedin, Last Night. The body of a man named Robprt Alexander Wilson, aged 36, who resided in South Dunedin, was found 3n tJi« Molyncaux River, about three miles boow Balclutha, on Monday. An inquest tvas held to-day, when evidence was given that the deceased had been in the Dunedin hospital under observation, haying suffered from insomnia. Mentally he was in good health, but was subject to giddy turn's. He left Dunedin on the 9th., and it was understood that ho was on a visit to friends at Tehouka. It was ascertained that this was not the case. The Coroner returned a verdict that deceased had met his deatji by drowning. FATAL MINE ACCIDENT. Dunedin, Last Night. John Archibald, single, aged 30 years, employed at Dnnlpp's mine, Lovell'a Flat, met with an accident through the collapse of a portion of the roof of the mine, on August 21, and died in the Hospital yesterday. The inquest opened i to-day, and was adjourned to Monday next.
