GOLF CHAMPION.
NEW PLYMOUTH EXHIBITION. J. H. Knrkwood, the open golf champion of Australasia, will play an exhibition match on the New Plymouth Club's links at Waiwakaiho on Thursday of next week, the 23rd inst. Word to this effect was received by the New Plymouth Club yesterday, and arrangements will be put in hand at once. It is hoped to arrange for Kirkwood to play a match with a wellknown New Zealand professional over 18 holes, and in addition he wi.M give an exhibition of. individual shots,
