PROTESTANT POLITICAL ASSOCIATION.
TARANAKI RESOLUTIONS. The two following resolutions were passed at the last Meeting of the Taranaki provincial executive of the Protestant Political Association: "That in view of tho, serious economic conditions existing in the Dominion at the present time, and the threatening attitude taken by the extreme section of Labor, this meeting of the Taranaki Provincial Committee of the Protestant Political Association desires to assure the (iovemment of the loyalty and co-operation of the members oi the Association in supporting the Government in whatever action they may deem advisable to take in repressing any attempt to undermine or overthrow our present democratic system of Government." "That this meeting of the Taranaki Provincial Committee of the Protestant Political Association, on behalf of the Taranaki members nf the Association, heartily approves of and endorses the resolution carried and forwarded to the Imperial Premier by the meeting of the Auckland members of the Association at the meeting held on Augusst 18th, in the Auckland Town Hall, in relation to the treatment of Archbishop Mannix."
