CHINA'S CONDITION.
WORST IN RECENT TIMES'. By Ttlsgraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright. New York, Sept. 12. The Shanghai correspondent of the New York Sun interviewed the former President, Sun Yat Sen, who stated that the condition of China to-day as the result of the recent fighting around Peking is worse than at any time in her recent history.
Northern China is now absolutely in the hands of Japanese reactionaries. Peace between the north and the soutli is now indefinitely postponed, unless the south is prepared to surrender unconditionally to Japan. The future only holds more confusion, chaos and complications, with the ascendency of Japan over China more pronounced. There can be no peace in China until a new revolution clears out the reactionaries again.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
