ARRESTS IN BELFAST. McSWEENEY'S CONDITION. By Triwaph.—Pieas Assn.—•Copyrlsht. London, Sept. 12. Fifty-eight arrests were made last night ,in Belfast. Nearly 10,000 people attended a Sinn Fein demonstration in Glasgow. A prayer was offered for M'Sweeney. The afternoon bulletin states that M'Sweeney has taken a turn for the worse. The widow of Sheehy Skeffington, who ! was shot diiring the Dublin rebellion of Easter, 1916, inquired this morning at Brixton prison concerning M'Swoeney's condition. He then was still conscious. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. SINN FEINERS DRILLING. London, Sept. 12. Four thousand Sinn Feiners in Glasgow are secretly drilling under ex-ser-vice instructors! It is understood .that the police, who have watched developments, know the ringlonders and are able at a given moment a seize hoards of rifles. Many other Sinn Feiners in Lanarkshire, Fifeshire and Lothians are drilling with dummy rifles.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
