He spoke ol the increasing interest in bible circulat tion in France, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece* and Roumania; but the main centre ox interest, he said, was in Africa and Altai, The Society was'.' working .in W* languages in Africa and India, circulate ing one and a half million copieß of the scriptures, whereas took 3,200,909 copies, this" number .representing oie* third of the total output of the Society for the year.
