The Atsuta Maru and Flora were scheduled to sail last evening, but have been delayed on account of the weather. It is now expected that both vessels will sail at daylight this morning. THE RIMU. Owing to the weather interfering with the loading, the Rimu has been delayed for a day f,nd will not now arrive here till to-morrow morning. PORT ALMA THIS MORNING. The Port Alma will sail from Waltara for Now Plymouth at 8 o'clock this morning, .and should berth at the wharf at about 8 a.m. TAIAROA LEFT PANAMA. The new steamer Talaroa, en route from New York, left Panama on September tth for Australian ports. TAINUI LEFT SOUTHAMPTON. The Talnui left Southampton last Thursday afternoon for Auckland and Wellington. The vessel is expected to arrive at Auckland on October 23rd. THE CARPENTARIA. The A. and A. liner Carpentaria, en route from New York to Auckland, left Panama on August 29th. She is due at Auckland on September 25th. KENT FROM LIVERPOOL. The Kent, which left Liverpool on August 18th., sailed from Newport News for Colon en August 31st. She Is due at Auckland about October Ist. UNDERGOING OVERHAUL. The Union Company's steamers now laid up at Port Chalmers are the Monowai, Maunganul, Manuka, Maraioa, Pateena, and Corinna. MARAMA AT SAN FRANCISCO. The R.M.S. Marama arrived at San Francisco from Wellington on the imorning of September 9th, and will sail on the return voyage on September 14th. WAIHORA LEAVES NEWCASTLE. The Union Company's collier Walhora. after a delay of nearly two weeks at Newcastle, left that port on Thursday night for Vancouver, where the vessel will load coal for New Zealand. ; N.Z. SHIPPING COMPANY'S VESSELS. The New Zealand Shipping Company's future dispatches from London are as follow: Woodarra, September 18, for Lyttelton, Port Chaftners and Bluff; Remuera, September 30, for Wellington and Auckland; Dorset, Octoler 21 for Auckland and Wellington; Paparoa, November 2, for South Island ports; Ruahlne, December 2, for Wellington and Auckland. The Ornri and Opawa will load at West Coast ports on account of the Federal Line. The Orari is expected to sail from Liverpool en October 6, and the from the same port on October 13. THE STEAMER KAWATIRI. The steamer Sharistan. now at Dunedln, which was recently purchased by the Union Company, Is to be renamed Kawatirl, afler the company's steamer of that name wrecked at Port Macquarie on August 14. 1907. The old Kawatirl arrived in New Zealand In 1883, and with the Wareta and the Orawitl was employed by he Westport Coal Company for same years. The Union Company purchased the three vessels, and after further service on the New Zealand const the Kawatirl transferred her scene of activities to the Hobart-Melbourne-Strahan service.
