The latest official returns show that Germany is surrendering t arms in accordance with the Peace Treaty. Twenty-seven thousand guns have been surrendered already, and by November there will have been given up all guns except those allowed under the Treaty. Thirty million live shells and fourteen thousand rifles have been destroyed. Efforts are being made by the authorities, who are offering rewards, to secure a large number of rifles known to be hidden. One hundred and thirty million rounds of small arms ammunition ha 3 been destroyed, but double that quantity still remains.—Reuter Service.
