The Dublin City Council and magistrates resigned bodily as a protest against the Government's Irish policy. They adopted a resolution praying that the Government be granted wisdom to avert widening the breach by allowing McSweeney to die. —United Service. TRAM-WORKERS' SYMPATHY.
