Sir,—Will you kindly jgrant me space to inform my many "friends that I have noted the several resolutions which appeared in your columns recently concerning "That Cablegram," and, to say that the pfeople of my district may rest assured that I have a full, clear, and convincing reply which will be made as soon as my strenuous Parliamentary duties will allow. Should any of my worker friends be temped to be misled by the "red herring that' lias been drawn across tho scent" in-the efforts to itlace me in a false positton, wili they withhold their judgment until such time as 1 have been heard in reply.—l aim, etc., SYD.
