WEDDING.

HORNER-THOMSOtf. The marriage of Miss Mildred Bell Thomson, youngest daughter of Mrs. J. Bell Thomson, Te Henui, New Plymouth, took place at St. Mary's Church yesterday afternoon, the bridegroom being Mr. Burnham Horner, M.C., Stratford, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Horner, Patea. The Rev. Harvie officiated. The church was prettily decorated by friends of the bride, and the service was fully choral, Mr. Renaud presiding at the organ. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Frank Thomson, of Whangarei, looked very pretty in white sa'tin crepe de chine, becomingly draped with lace. She wore a veil and orange blossom, and carried a charming bouquet. The bride was atteuded by her sister, Miss Sybil Thomhoii, who wore a dainty frock of white georgette trimmed with bands of mauve. Her iiat was mauve, and her bouquet whs composed of flowers in the same shade. The two little bridesmaids, Misses Lois Wilson and Jean Shield, wore dainty white muslin dresses with touches of mauve. Mr. Clement Marshall, Bolton, England, carried out the duties of best man. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at the residence of the bride's mother, only immediate relations being present. Latep Mr. and Mrs. Homer left by car, the bride travelling in a. saxe blue coat frock trimmed with lemon, and georgette lemon hat with touches of black.
