Large importations of unmarked hosiery, underwear, fabric, and gloves made in Germany by workers working 12 hours a day are causing widespread unemployment in the British Midlands. Chambers of Commerce are petitioning the Government. In the meanwhile the factories are working two or three days a week.— Reuter.
