LADIES I TOURNAMENT. By Telegraph.—Pre&s Assn —Copyright. Gisborne. Laßt Night. The ladies' championship hockey tournament was continued to-day in fine weather. In Section A, beat Wellington by six goals to nil, the winners finding the net only during the last half of the .second spell. Tho scorers were Misses Ritchie and Johnston. "Poverty Bay A beat Hawke's Bay by three goals to nil. . The scorers were Misses A. Hei, Pearce, and Hill. In Section B, Poverty Bay B beat Wanganui by two goals to one. Miss Godding scored both goals for the winners, and Miss Periltt scored for Wanganui. Auckland beat Walby six goals to nil. Goals wero scored by Misses Tanner (two), McMeekin, Crawford, Hamlin, and Lamb.
