ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S. LAST NIGHT OF "THREE GREEN EYES'." Five great stars, or rather comets, for they TUsh about in that way peculiar to comets, have combined their art in one photoplay, "Three Green Eyes," with the result that picture-goei'3 can enjoy one of the most hilarious, fast-moving, ribshaking comedies ever produced, June Elvidge, Evelyn Greeley, Montague Love, Carlvle Blaekwell, and the humorous Johnny Hines are the shining lights of this unusually brilliant cast; and the, plot hinges on the jealousy of a suspicious husband and an indiscreet loveletter written by wifie in flapper days. CHARLIE CHAPLIN TO-MORROW. To-morrow and Thursday Charlie Chaplin will appear in his famous threereel comedy, "A Dogs Life." On the same programme Sessue Hayakawa stars in his latest feature production, "His Birthright." THE PEOPLE'S. TOM MIX ANDPEGGY HYLAND. The inscrutable Oriental holds out a constant appeal to America. His character is for ever a source of healthy interest, taunting the imagination and stimulating curiosity. The worst types of the yellow men are brought into bold relief by the new photodrama release, "The Cyclone," at the People's to-night, in which William Fox presents the daredevil of the screen, Tom Mix. A setting as fantastic and multi-colored as life itself serves to etch the Chinese allies of a smuggling gang in a uniquely strong fashion. Their diabolical contrivances are sore obstacles to Sergeant Tim, the latest and strongest characterisation by Tom Mix, the Fox thriller. But the dauntless Tim triumphs and wins the love of a charming girl, played by Coleen Moore. The bill includes gazettes and Peggy Hyland in "Cowardice Court," an exquisite society drama. ,
