AUCKLAND GAS NORMAL. ■» By Telcsriuli. —Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The gas supply of the city returned to normal this morning in consequence of the anticipated supplies of soft coal having reached Auckland. The Gas Company has now sufficient ooal to last for several weeks. INTER-ISLAND FLIGHT. Christchurch, Last Night. At a reception ceremony in connection with Captain Dickson's return flight from the North Island, Captain Dickson said that what appealed to him In connection with the "stunt" was that a victory had been won by the South Island which could not bo taken away. The aeroplane carried two bags of mails for the Postal Department.
