Mr. Ross, the challenger for the America Cup, interviewed, said that the people of Canada were enthusiastic aljout the challenge and he did r&t think It would be difficult lo raise the money required. '■N'g yacht will be schooner-rigged and of the fisherman type, entirely of Canadian design and construction, manned and commanded by Canadian fishermen, and will be able to go off-shore in any weather. Mr. Rosa explained that the idea of employing Nicholson to design tho yacht was changed; because Nicholson insisted on too much of the work being done in England.— Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
