Olympic Games and a British Empire team, consisting of the Olympic com* petit ors and University athletes. Davidson, H. E. Wilson (New Zeai landers). Ken T. Hughes (a Victorian), and E. V. Dunbar (a Quecnslander) participated. Each sida won five event); the Americans taking the broad and the 440 yards The British won the high jump, one mile, two miles relays, and the half mile relay, in which Davidson finished first by six yards. Thompson (tho Canadian champion) won the 120 yards llurdles in 14 4-5 scccpds, creating a world's record on grass,—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
