SEQUEL TO MAOKAY' CASE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Sept. 4. The sequel to the recent Wanganui eensation was an application from Mrs. Mackav for a divorce. The petition wts not opposed, and a decree nisi was granted. AUCKLAND GAS SERVICE. Auckland, Last Night. The gas pressure was much better last night and to-day, the company having secured 500 tons of coal from a Japanese steamer. It is hoped, with the aid of supplies arriving, to resume normal pressure to-morrow.
