PROFIT IN BLANKETS.
BOARD OP TRADE DECISION. Wellington, Thufsday. Further developments in connection with the recent decision by the Board of Trade c6ncerning what constitutes a fair profit upon the cost price of blankets, ate likely to occur in the near future. It is probable that the decision that per cent. .• should be the figure, will be reconsidered as soon as the Board of Trade has gone into all the facts in ! connection with the case. When that has been done a report will be made on the subject. It is probable that the drapers will not be empowered to charge on the basis of 50 per cent, on cost i price, as they have suggested, but the' decision will probably be for something between 33 1-3 and 50 per cent.
