WEDDING.

WATTS—MATHESON. A pretty wedding was solemnised by the Rev. H. B. Gray, on August 25, 1920, at the Presbyterian Church, Hawera, when Isabella Elsie, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. Matheson, of Banffshire, Scotland, was married to Henry John, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Watts, of Hawera. The bride, who was given away by Mr. A. Phipps, was charmingly dressed in white satin, with an overdress of silver lace and net, and Wore the customary veil and wreath of orange blossoms and white heather, and carried a beautiful shower bouquet. She was attended by Miss Phipps, of New Plymouth, who was attired in white embroidered voile, with a folded belt of mauve satin. Her hat was of • black lace, relieved with mauve. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Norman Skelton, of Fitzroy, New Plymouth. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at a wedding breakfast in the Central Dining Rooms, where the usual toasts were honored. The presents were both numerous and costly, and included several cheques. Later t'.ie happy couple departed for the south to spend a short honeymoon.—Star.
