Sydney, Sept 1 The interim report of Mr. Justice Edmunds on Broken Hill rejects the millers' claims and provides for a 48-hour week above ground and a 44-hour week below. It recommends a continuance of the contract system and night shift. The miners claimed "a 36-hour week and £1 a day. They are dissatisfied with the report, but make no comment. —Aus.-N.Z.
