ENTERTAINMENTS.

EVERYBODY'S. "THE ROMANCE OF TARZAN." The great First National super-attrac-tion, "The Romance of Tarzan" will be screened at Everybodys tonight, at a special matinee tomorrow afternoon, and finally tomorrow night.' Over 350 scenes were taken in "The Romance of Tarzan", the First National mammoth production of the sequel of "Tarzan of the Apes." Some of the moat gorgeous scenes of jungle life ever filmed are featured in this production, and the story is a worthy successor to its predecessor, 'Tarzan*'. Blood-ting-ling adventure and a love that bridged the gulf between savagery and civilisation, more thrills than were ever gathered together in a single picture, the Benßational atmosphere, and the extraordinary novelty of the plot and the principal characters all these are component parts of a production that is worthy of a front rank position amongst screen triumphs. COMING FRIDAY. "THE RAINBOW TRAIL." This gripping special picture will commence a two night season at Everybodys on Friday next. A sequel to "Riders of the Purple Sage," "The Rainbow Trail," takes up the fortunes of Lassiter, Jane Withersteen and the girl, Fay Larkin, years after they have been locked up in a lost canyon. Not only does Mr Farnum again portray the role of Lassiter, the two-gun man and terror of the Utah border, but he also takes the part of Shefford, a two-fisted fighting man .who goes to the rescue of these imprisoned people. This dual role gives Mr Farnum some of the most splendid opportunities of his screen career, and he rises to his opportunities like the sterling actor that he is. ; , THE PEOPLES. LAST NIGHT OF "HER ELEPHANT MAN." No motion picture engagement in this town in many seasons has proved so successful and so entirely satisfactory as Miss Shirley Mason in "Her" Elephant Man," the William Fox production that closes its run at the Peoples tonight. Miss Mason's charming personality never was better fitted than in this part of a circus rider. The picture is full of thrills and realistic scenes, and has all the delightful lure which is ever a part of the circus. The verdict here is that "Her Elephant Man" is the best circus picture ever presented to local audiences; and surely Miss Mason was never seen to better advantage. The bill includes a fine ~ Sunshine Comedy and gazettes. "THE FAMOUS DIGGERS." EMPIRE THEATRE, SATURDAY

Williamson, Ltd., banner, gained for them such an excellent reputation for the unique entertainments presented, are making a farewell tour of Ihe Dominion, under the direction of Mr Victor Beckprior \o touring the East.
