THE AUSTRALIAN PURCHASE. DETAILS OF THE CONTRACT. By Telegraph,—Press Am.—CoppUbf. Received August 29, 5.5 p.m. London, August 27. A new contract has been completed with the Food Ministry for the purchase of next season's Australian butter. With a view to encouraging increased production the Government has agreed to pay 274s f.o.b. for ninety point butter, and eighteen- pence less for each point below. All other conditions are similar to those of the June contract. The period of purchase '» August 1 to March 31.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
