Mr. Buxton states that if the potato market here is judiciously supplied New Zealand potatoes will realise about £8 10a to £7 per ton f.o.b. New Zealand. He is going to Queensland to-morrow with a view of negotiating with the Queensland State Produce Department, and will ascertain the possibility of arranging future contracts direct to the State. —Aiu.-N.Z.
