General Tsao Kun, who defended the Central Chinese Government from the recent attacks"by the Anfu army, has. been appointed Inspector-General of the provinces of Chijui, Shantung and Eonan. The conference held between Kun, Premier of Yupa'ng, and General Tsolin, military inspector for Manchuria, resulted in the decision to call a national convention of citizens to decide upon reforms in the Government administration and popular Government. —Aus.-N.Z.
