The Mapourika, which left Lyttelton on Monday morning, arrived hore at 6,50 a.m. yesterday. She has a full cargo of about 700 tons to discharge, including transhipments. GLAUCOS SAILS. The Glaucus completed discharging her cargo of phosphate from Surprise Island yesterday, and sailed for Westport at 5,80 p.m. OTARAMA LOADING. The Otarama is still loading at the wharf, and, though the labour has been augmented with men from * Waitara, she wilt probably not be ready to sail for Waitara till the end of the week. '

ARGYLLSHIRE AT PANAMA. The Argyllshire has passed through the Panama Canal with everybody all well. NEW INTER-COLONIAL COLLIER. The steamer Oarbeta (5333 tons) has been taken over by the Union Steamship Company on time charter for the Inter-colonlal trade. The vessel was to have left Sydney on Saturday for Newcastle to complete loading for Auckland. It Is intended to employ the Garbeta solely in tho coal trade between Newcastle and New Zealand ports. THE CANADIAN WINNER. The Canadian Winner is tho next Canadian Government vessel to leave Vancouver for New Zealand and Australian ports. She should leave on September 15 and will first visit Auckland, going on to Sydney and Melbourne. RUAHINE DELAYED. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahlne has been further delayed, and as she will not be able to leave Gisborne until Mondayi her departure for London has been postponed until 3 p.m. on September 2. ESSEX'S LOADING PORTS. The Essex is due at Gisborne to-day from Brisbane to load. She will also load at Napier, Lyttelton, and Wellington, and 1b expected to sail finally for New York from Wellington on September 16.

NEW SERVICE TO NEW ZEALAND. A message which appears in the shipping journal Falrplay, from New Orleans, under date July 7th., states that the ,T. H. W. Steel Steamship Company are to inaugurate a new service to Calcutta and New Zealand on July Ist and September Ist, respectively. RADIO PROM RUAPEHTJ.
