The first series of test wireless messages from Bordeaux (France), were received at the Paloalto Station (California), a'nd they were clear and distinct. The distance covered is 7200 milee. The Bordeaux station is the most powerful in the world. It was erected by the United States Navy service for France and is capable, of reaching Tutuila (an island in the Samoan group belonging to the United States), which is practically half-way round the world, where it is believed a message was heard. —Renter Service.
