TO-MORROW NIGHT'S TOURNAMENT. That the Taranaki Boxing Association Is a very live body is evidenced by the manner that it is catering for boxing in New Plymouth During its short life It has held two successful tournaments, and Hie indications are that the tournament which has been arranged for to-morrow evening as a fitting finale to {lie day's sport provided by the Hunt Club, races, will prove equally successful. Tho committee is sparing no effort to make the tournament attractive, and they should have'the support of the sporting fraternity. A tplendid programme has been arranged, the principal item bolng a fifteen round contest between Geo. Richardson and Frank Brown. Both contestants are in splendid form, and the contest should be very interesting. Geo. Richardson, who has won over twenty contests, has greatly improved since his defeat by T. Thompson. At that time he was just recovering from a bout of influenza. The other bouts should be 'full of interest, as leading Taranaki amateurs in the bantam, feather, light and middle-weight classes will be competing in six two-minute round bouts.
