TOOLEY STREET—C.W.S.

(To the Kditor.) Sir,—One wonders if it is a matter for congratulation to the Mangorei Co-opera-1 tive Dairy Company to elect a Tooley Street representative on their Board of Directors, although it shows the good feeling which must exist between the champion of the C'.W.S. organisation and the Tooley Street merchants. They will now l>e able to put their heads together "when discussing the sale of a season's output. I notice also that the chairman of directors is in favor of open competition in the Old Country, but wants restricted competition so far as raw material is concerned in Mr own district, and, if possible, none at all. One may justly exclaim: "Wonderful is the inconsistency of man."—l am, etc.. "COW-SPANKER." Inglewood 21st August. -
