Aug. 23.—Flora, s.s., at 1.30 a.m., 1283 tons, ilcLellan, from Onehunga. SAILED. Aujust 23.—Ngakuta, s.s., at 10 p.m., 1300 tons, Dowell, for Greymouth. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Rlmu, from Onehunga, to-day. Mapourlka, from Lyttelton, to-morrow. West Ckmargo, from 'Frisco, end September. Maraarl, from United Kingdom, October. FLORA ARRIVE.s. The Flora, with 170 tons of general cargo, arrived from Onehunga at 1.30 a.m. yesterday. She anchored in the stream to await, the sailing of the Ngakuta. as there was otherwise insufficient berthage. She was expected to berth early this morning. THE RIMU TO-DAY. The Rlmu sailed from Onehunga at 2.35 p.m. yesterday, crossing the bar at 5 p.m. The Rimu returns nonh this afternoon. NGAKUTA FOR GREYMOUTH. The Ngakuta completed discharging and sailed for Greymouth at 10 o'clock last night. She will load bunker coal at Greymouth for the Ruahine and Devon at Wellington. MAPOtnttlKA TO-MORROW. The Mapourika is expected here to-morrow with 800 tons of general cargo from Lyttelton and Wellington. OTARAMA LOADING. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Otarama, which arrived at New Plymouth on Saturday night from Newcastle for Homeward loading, commenced loading yesterday. The vessel will subsequently visit Waitara and Wellington. She Is due at Wellington about September 3rd, and is to sail about September Bth for London, via Panama. THE CORINNA. The Corlnua was to sail from Wellington yesterday for Timaru and Dunedin. RUAHINE'S SAILING POSTPONED. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the sailing of the Ruahine from Wellington for the United Kingdom, which was scheduled for August 28, has now been postponed to August 31.

TAHITI AT VAUCOUVER. The RM.S. Tahiti arrived at Vancouver at 7 o'clock last Wednesday morning from Auckland via ports. The vessel, the message adds, was to sail on the return ttfp last Friday. KAIKOURA LEFT NOVA SCOTIA. The Kalkoura, which has loaded at Montreal and Sydney (Nova Scotia), left the latter port on August 16th for Auokland, Wellington, Dunedln, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Tho vessel is expected to reach Auckland on September 23rd and Wellington about a week later. NORTHUMBERLAND TO LOAD. The Northumberland Is fixed to load In New Zealand for New York. The vessel Is due in the Dominion from Australia towards the end of September. ESSEX FOR NEW YORIC. The Essex left Brisbr.no on Friday for Gisborne, Napier, Lyttelton, and Wellington to load for New York. The vessel is expected to arrive at Wellington about September 14th. CORINTHIC LEFT HOME, The Corinthic left Southampton on last Thursday afternoon for Wellington, via Panama. The vessel is proceeding direct to Colon, omitting the customary call at Newport News. The Corinthic is due at Wellington on September 29th. From Wellington the liner is to proceed to Auckland. CANADIAN GOVERNMENT VESSELS. The Canadian Winner is to leave Vancouver oh September 15th, direct for Auckland. Other new vessels on the sailing list are the Canadian Highlander, the Canadian Traveller, and the Canadian Skirmisher. BRITISH INDIA COMPANY UNITS. The British India Company's steamers Tanfleld, Gurna, Sangola, and Canara are loading at Calcutta for Australasian ports.
