August 22.—Otarama, s.s., at 7.15 a.m., Mi Bit tons, Hughes, from Newcastle. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Flora, frcm Onehunga, to-day. Rlmu, from Onehunga, to-morrow. Mapourika, from Lyttelton, early. West Camargo, from 'Frisco, end September. M'amijrl, from United Kingdom, October. OTARAMA ARRIVES. The New Ze&Vnd Shipping Company's liner Otarama' arrived in the stream, and anchored at midnight or. Saturday, from Newcastle. Tne harbormaster and a medical office? boarded the vessel at 7.15 yesterday, and declared lier a clean ship. She berthed at the wharf at 8 a.m. The Otarama experienced a strong easterly gale during the whole voyage from Newcastle. She entered port drawlfig 21 feet at low water. THE NGAKUTA. The Ngakuta is expected to complete discharging and sail this afternoon for Greymouth. FLORA FROM ONEHUNGA. The Flora left Onehunga at 11 a.m. yesterday, and is due here to-day, but will be unable to berth till the Ngakuta sails in the afternoon. THE MOERAKI TO-DAY. The Moerakl left Sidney at 3 p.m. cn Thursday direct for Wellington with 329 passengers. The vessel is due at Wellington this afternoon. THE PORT SYDNEY. The Port Sydney, en route from London, Is to leUve Sydney on the 26th inst, for Auckland, Napier, and Wellington. The vessel is now expected to reach Wellington about September 9th. THE PORT CURTIS. The Port Curtis, en route from New York, arrived at Wellington on Saturday. THE MATATUA. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Matatua arrived at Wellington on Saturday from Liverpool, via Panama and Auckland. THE WAIHEMO. The Union Company's steamer Waihemo arrived at Wellington from Uniou Bay, Vancouver, via Auckland on Friday. The vessel brought paper and Ben oral cargo from Ocean Falls, Powell River, and Vancouver. The Wclhemo sailed from Ocean Falls on July 21st, and had fine weather till approaching the New Zealand coast, when a south-easterly gale and high seas were uuet. The vessel was detained by bad weather, and she had to put In to Auckland for bunker coal last Tuesday. The voyage was resumed late cn the same evening, and a southerly swell was encountered till arrival. Nothing of special Interest occurred during the trip.
