THE ARBITRATION COURT.

COMPLAINTS BY LABOR PEOPLE. 1 By Ttlssnph.—Press ASilclatton. Wellington, Last Night. A representative Labor deputation waited upon the Minister of Labor today in connection with Arbitration Court matters. The depuration, which was introduced by Mr. Fraser, M.P., protested against delay in the iVrbitration Court sittings in the chief centres, and also against delay ill giving a decision in respect to the cost of living bonus. Objection was •taken to the fact that the president of the Court frequently sat on the Supreme Court bench, instead of giving priority to the work of the Arbitration Court. It was admitted the Court was overworked, but the deputation Suggested that the situation could be overcome if further clerical assistance were given to the Registrar. Sir William Hcrries, in reply, said he would mpke representations to the Minister of Justice regarding the clashing of the work of the Arbitration Court and the Supremo Court. The matter of providing clerical assistance for the Registrar was one that could easily be rectified, and would be rectified if inquiries showed the need. .
