NEXT WEEK'S TOURNAMENT. Great interest is being taken in the train* ing or the two principals in the professional bout at the boxing tournament which takes place at New Plymouth next Thursday night. Brown has improved very much since his Inst bout, and being fast and having plenty of rlngcraft, should put up a biff bid for victory. Bicharduon will also enter the ring a greatly improved man, as the last time he took paTt he had just got over a bout of influenza. Tho prizo for this bout is seventy sovereigns The amateur bouts should be fast, open, and full of Interest, tho winners being well hidden.
