Buckcridge has received the following interesting cable a.lvices: —Cheese: Canadian market irregular, owing to decline in exchange and uncertainty with regard to financial developments in the near future; Canadian cheese markets temporarily unsettled; English make has been heavy, but production falling off from present time; domestic consumption so heavy thar, it will probably force later 011 free Canadian and New Zealand cheese above Government price. Canadian 'cheese selling here to-day lo2s to 160s, Meantime, owing to financial position, production going into consumption in place of usual storage for winter supplies. This makes outlook for New Zealand cheese much ! more favorable," ''Quebec Central Cooperative Farmers' of about ">OO factories, just decided to consign all their cheese to private firms' io be sold on Home markit, instead of continuing selling as usual in Montreal They bplieve better results are obtained by open consignment."
