SUPREME COURT.
CASES AT TIMARU. By Telegraph.—Vress Association. Timaru, Last Night. At the Supreme Court,, a decree nisi was granted David Rodgers, licensee of the Royal Hotel v. May Rodgcrs and M. J. Sims, misconduct. A jury of four awarded the full amount of a claim for t213 damages for personal injuries to Marguerite Fairbairn Miller, of Christchurch, again ;t the Railway Department. The plaintiff was knocked down by a luggage trolley at. the Timaru station platform on De:amber 30, and sustained a broken arm. Since then she has been unable to purs Je her calling. Counsel for the Crown gave notice of application for a new trial, on the grounds that the vevdici was against the weight of evidence
