TYPOGRAPHICAL DISPUTE.
AN AGREEMENT REACHED.. A sitting of the Conciliation Ooifflnii was set down in New Plymouth yesterday morning to deal with a dispute between the Taranaki Typographical Union of Workers and the Master Printers' Association, MMirs. 1 F. Pirani (employers) and C. B. OhapO man (employees) were present to fct with the local assessors, but the' Con}- „ missioner (Mr. W. Newton) telegraphed from Auckland that he was unable to be present oWing to hi} (Jutie* in. connection with the sugar workers' dispute.^ Later nn word was received that local Inspector of Factories had been authorised to act. as commissioner. ,Mr. .Chapman, however, had left by the-Holi-day 1 .;iin. The local assessors nnd~Mri( Pirani met, the acting commissioner and came to an agreement,'which wiU. be sent on to Wellington for Mr. Ci»#p- > man's signature.
