SALE OF JERSEYS.
THE ROSY CREEK HERD. A very successful sale of Jersey lielfers was held on the Egmont A. and P. Show Grounds, Hawera, yesterday, when some twenty-one two-year-old pedijyree heifers, the property of Messrs. A. and .T. O'DoimoU. Rosy Creek, Inaha, were*put under the hammer. The sale was conducted by It, P Morrissey and Co. There was a large and representative attendance of Jersey breeders. The bidding was brisk, and high prices wero realised for the -various locs, which averaged £92 12s. A beautiful heifer by Rainbow's King—Caresse, topped the marked at 100 gns., Mr. C. G. Gibbons (Ngalre), being the purchaser, Prices were realised as follow 3:—
