Mamarl, from United Kingdom, October. REGULUS WITH COAL. The Regulus arrived from Greymouth at 6.30 a.m. on Saturday with 487 tons of coal and t small quantity of general cargo. She la scheduled to sail to-day. ROSAMOND DIVERTED. The Union Company advise that, owing to shortage of labor and congestion at the Wellington wharves, the Rosamond will not come to New Plymouth, but would sail Instead for Greymouth on Saturday night. Endeavours are being made to arrange for another boat for New Plymouth early this week. THE CORINNA ARRIVES. The Corlnna arrived at New Plymouth yesterday from Nelson and southern ports. She has 800 tons of general cargo from this port, and discharge will commence this ,raornlng. GALE DELAYING WORK. Discharge of the guano brought by the Glaucus from Walpole Island was commenced on Saturday morning, but at ~11 o'clock the hatches had to be replaced on account of spray brought up by the south-ast gale wftlcli was blowing. Work will not be resumeil until 8 a.m. to-day. MAMARI LEFT LONDON. Cable advice has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Co. that the liner Mamarl left London on August 11th for Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Wellington, and New Plymouth. The vessel, whloh is coming out via Panama, Is due at Port Chalmers about September 25th. and will land 400 third-class passengers at that port. The Mamari will not reach New Plymouth till October. NGAKUTA FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. The Blackball Coal Company advise that the Ngakuta has been delayed In loadlnc cement at Limestone Island by wet weather. Consequently the vessel will not reach Wellington before to-morrow. From Wellington the Ngakuta comes to New Plymouth with 1000 tons of cement.
ESSEX LOADS FOR NEW YORK. The N.Z. and African Co. advise that the liner Essex Is to leave Australia next Wednesday for New Zealand ports to load for New York. ULIMAROA LETT SYDNEY. Cable advice has been received by the HudJavt Parker Company that the tlllmaroa sailed from Sydney r.t 2.15 p.m. on Thursday direct for Wellington with 291 passengers (including 14 Chinese) and 1300 tons of cargo. The vessel Is due at Wellington this morning OFAWA LEFT NEWPORT NEWS. Cable advice has been received by ths New Zealand Shipping Company that their steamer Opawa left Newport News on the 10th inst. for London, in continuation of her voyage from Bluff. C. AND D. LINE. The C. and D. Line have been advised b? cable that' the liner Port Napier left NewYork on August lOtii, cargo-laden for Auckland, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Australian porta. The vessel is due at Auckland about September 4th., and at Wellington about a week later. The Port Lyttelton left Colon on AUgu.il Oth for Newport News end London, en route from Wellington. The Port Victor is to leave Glasgow and Liverpool nbont August 21st for New Zealand ports.
