IJeesnt Indications are for south nnd southeast winds, strong to gale, and cold bolaterious conditions, particularly in the East Coast districts nnd about Cook Strait. Heavy showers are probable generally, with snow m the high levels in the South Island The barometer rising everywhere, and conditions are likely to moderate shortly.
