For this class competition was slack, and a reduction In values took place. For animals offered showing breeding, competition wal good. Sheep: Values were fully 3s 6d a head below last week's rate, although the last sale of the day firmed up on earlier sales. Heavyweight wethers realised from 53s Cd to 60s Bd, medium 43s to 51s Bd, light and unfinished sorts from 333 upwards. Prime ewes Teaiised from 41s to 46s 3d, medium 35s to 40s, light and aged from 28s upwards. Lambs: Competition was good, and prices were about equal to late rates, butchers' limbs selling from 25s to 35s 6d per head. Pigs: A small yarding. Competition was very keen. Best bacomers realised from la Id to Is 2d per lb, and beat porkers from Is 2d to' Is 3d per lb.
