The moveables were saved, but the buildiDg was completely gutted and the electric light plant badly damaged. Tlie building and plant are valued at £»00O, and the insurance is £4500. CHEESE FACTORY DESTROYED. Woodville, August 12. About midnight the United Co-opera-tive Dairy Company's McLean Street cheese factory was totally destroyed by fire. The insurances on the building amount to £9OO, .for the plant £O7O, and" for the cheese making material £250, all of which are in the Government State Fire Insurance Office. The loss above the insurance is estimated at £ISOO. OUTBREAK AT RAGLAN. Raglan, August 12. Gilmour Bros.' general store was totally destroyed by fire last night. Nothing was saved but the books. The insurances are: Stock (Royal) £3750, building (State) £OSO. The estimated loss above the insurance is about £3OO.
