The Milan correspondent of the Dally j Chronicle reports that an Incendiary! campaign on and unprecedented scale is proceeding in all parts of Italy. A large military powder magazine at, Sangerwasto was blown up, shaking the whole city of Florence. Some bodieaj were hurled a mile. The death roll 1» not yet ascertainable, but over a hundred were sent to hospital. Many were wounded by. falling bombs, and many persons who were on fire in the street*' saved themselves by immersion in publio fountains.
An attempt to blow up a magazine atj Mugnany, Tuscany, by getting.Are W adjacent woods, failed. . Armed bands availed m&gstfnes at* Piacenza and Catania, and the military employed machine guns in a* night-long engagement, driving off the attacker* at' daylight. Anarchists exploded bombs in several Milan restaurants.
Four Ares which occurred in Genoa. Parma, Trieite and San Antonio, caused £250,000 damage, including. much Qov« eminent stores.
