Present indications are for strong notherlles, backing to southerlles soon northward of New Plymouth and Castlepoint, and high southerly winds elsewhere. Coldl unsettled, cloudy* weather, and further rain may be expected gendrally, with heavy rain In many parts, and with snow on high country in Xfce South Island. The barometer will rise everywhere shortly.
