As a result of n'on-settlement through the medium of the Conciliation Council the members of the Union have jiven the employers notice that unless the dispute is settled on the basis of the Union's originftl demands they will fltaae operations at midnight on the 14th tost. The demands referred to were 4 44hour iweek, an all-round increase of £1 per week, and better working conditions.
